We Provide Disaster support in the form of:
- SITUATIONAL AWARENESS
- Reconstruction
- Relief Aid
- Search and Rescue
- Real-time surveillance
- DAMAGE ASSESSMENT
In disaster response situations devastating destruction can make disaster relief challenging. It is so important to direct disaster aid where it is needed most. From hurricanes, to earthquakes, road accident, fires and search and rescue, first responders need to be prepared to quickly assemble a response in the aftermath of a natural disaster.
DRIFT UAV enables rescue teams to fly before other manned aircraft arrive on scene, quickly assessing damage, locating survivors and providing the intelligence needed to determine where aid is needed most. If maps are created before a disaster, they may even help teams rebuild and re-create the area exactly as it was prior to the disaster.
Sending rescue workers into damaged structures or wreckage piles to search for survivors is often difficult, and more importantly, dangerous. With a Search and Rescue mission underway, the faster your search efforts commence, the better the chance of a successful outcome. Pre-planned flight paths enable the operator to systematically perform a grid search in a given area to ensure no single area is overlooked. Drone videos and high-resolution imagery are automatically saved and geo-tagged for further analysis and potentially used for evidence.
At DRIFT UAV we have drone rated for operations in rains and other adverse weather conditions.
RECONSTRUCTION:
3D imaging/mapping:
At DRIFT UAV we are able to use our Drones to produce high-quality 3D images and maps. In disaster-stricken areas, these maps can be instrumental in locating and assessing structural damage to buildings and other infrastructure elements. This information can be used in search and rescue efforts, as well as in beginning the major effort of reconstruction.
RELIEF AID:
Payload drop systems:
Floods, damaged roads, building rubble – so many things can get in the way of emergency responders getting needed supplies to people trapped or injured. We can use our Drones to easily rise above these obstacles and have the ability to carry significant payloads, and then drop them where they are needed.
